Our Team

Our course facilitators are from all walks of life. Qualified in both academic and Islamic studies, ranging from speech therapy and engineering to media and communications; they bring a wealth of life experience to the classroom, thereby enlivening the teachings of the Qur’an.

Mu’allima Radia is the founder and Director of Zahraa Institute (previously Darun Na’im Li-Zuhur). As a graduate of the Darun Na’im Institute of Higher Islamic Learning in Wynberg, headed by Moulana Allie Goder, she has also completed a BA degree in Media and Communication Science through UNISA. While shouldering the responsibilities of overseeing Zahraa Institute and caring for her young family, she has also received ijaazaat in a few narrations of the Holy Qur’an from both local and international scholars and finds the time to be actively involved in a number of community development projects.
