#HAJJ SEASON 🌸 The month of Thul Hijjah starts tomorrow, bringing the opportunity to attain Allah's mercy and it all begins with an intention!

🌸 INTENTIONS FOR THE BEST 10 DAYS 🌸

I intend to:
• not commit sin
• not harm anyone
• seek Allah's forgiveness
• recite Qur'an everyday
• fast, especially on the 9th Thul Hijjah
• recite much thikr (لا اله الا الله)
• give charity
• sacrifice on the day Eid (Qurban)
• spend time with family

May Allah grant us all His Mercy Amin ✨

#Hadith No matter what vicissitudes the paths of our lives may follow, the inescapable exit point for every life is death, the final curtain. Deep in the heart of each of us lies the fervent hope that when that moment comes, we will have a good death.
However, for those who Allah decides to remove from this world through the effects of a mass pandemic, there is wonderful news. Upon them Allah bestows the status of a shahīd, the martyr who gave his very life for His Rabb.
Ya Allah, accept each and every Muslim who left this world due to Covid in Your Court as a blessed and honoured martyr!

#REMINDER As we approach the last 10 days of #Ramadan, the "balance of the year", let's try to take on a little more to build upon our normal routine:

✨ EASY WAYS TO SPEND THE LAST 10 DAYS & NIGHTS OF RAMADAN ✨

🎯 MAKE THE INTENTION OF I'TIKAF
I'tikaf (spiritual retreat) is to enter into seclusion in a designated place of worship and can be intended even for your daily prayers.

The reward? The noble pursuit of I'tikaf is a highly regarded sunnah that helps to enhance one’s spiritual growth, as one strives hard to worship Allah better without distraction.
Even a few moments of seclusion in worship with the intention of I'tikaf may be accepted insha'Allah.

▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫

🕓 Set aside an extra 30mins/1 hour to fit around your salah times, whenever is best for you to divide your time between the following:

👥 JOIN A RAMADAN PROGRAMME: Embrace the Ramadan spirit by joining an online/onsite programme offered by our many mosques/institutes!

📖 RECITE: Recite a portion of your Khatam, a surah you have memorised or memorise a new portion of Qur'an, even if only 1 verse, and study the translation.

🕋 NAFL/ QADA'A SALAH: Catch up on your missed Fard Salāhs. Use the sacred time before Fajr to perform 2 raka'āt of Tahajjud, Salātul Hājah or Istikhara.

Recite slowly with meaning, as many times as you like.

For group prayers, join a Qiyāmul Layl session online/onsite such as the male & female programme offered by @mizaninstitute to experience the full khatam during the last 10 days!

📿 THIKR: Do tasbīh of Allah, send salutations upon our beloved Prophet ﷺ & make lots of Istighfār.

🤲🏼 DU'A: Read du'as from the Qur'an/ Sunnah & personal du'as in your own words.

🙏🏼 HAMD: Perform Sajdah of Shukr, lengthening your sajdah and thanking Allah for those blessings you are most grateful for.

Even a few moments of seclusion in worship with the intention of I'tikaf may be accepted insha'Allah.

May Allah record us amongst those who found Laylatul Qadr and grant us the ultimate reward. Amīn!

Although the nature of this disease prevents us from the sunnah of visiting you, you remain in our thoughts. As you suffer to breathe, with fear of the worst never far away from the mind, please bear it all with patience and fortitude.
This is Allah’s test on you, and He is watching your every response.
Say,
حسْ ب يَ الله وَنعِْمَ الوْكَِيْ ل
Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the Best Guardian,
and never complain. The One who afflicted you can bring you through it. And when you have borne it all with good cheer and patience, and without ever complaining, He grants you a slate as clean as the day you were born.
With that, you may then return to start a fresh lease of life.
